Lazier commissioned by Women In Motion

WiM is a team of fierce dance artists—Amber Sloan, Erin Cella and Melissa Riker—dedicated to forwarding the voices of female choreographers. They partner with producers David Parker and Jeffrey Kazin to offer support, commission fees, and curate an evening of performance. I am thrilled to have been selected to join them as a commissioned artist alongside mavericks Joya Powell and Garnet Henderson. Over the next year we will gather to share process, laughter and new work. I will embark on creating my first solo in 13 years.
